Our Commitment

Beauties of the Beasts wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology — screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or screen magnification. We're targeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across yumareptiles.com and treat accessibility as an ongoing process, not a one-time fix.

What We've Already Fixed

As of this update, we've corrected:

• Screen-reader labeling on our FAQ page, so the expand/collapse state of each answer is announced accurately
• Live-region announcements on our donation calculator and FAQ accordion, so changes are announced as they happen

Known Limitations

We don't yet offer a light or reduced-contrast theme — the site is currently dark-themed only. We're aware some body text may not meet contrast targets in every context and are auditing this. If a specific page or element is hard to read, please tell us; that report goes directly into what we fix next.

Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter anything on this site that's difficult to use with assistive technology, please let us know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened — that's enough for us to investigate.

We aim to respond within 72 hours, the same standard we hold for every other message to this rescue.
